|Recommended: NoThe Highlander — The room and the kitchen is fine. Some room might be more spacious than the other in a double bedroom. There is only one elevator in this building and it is terrible. The smell and cleanliness are bad. However, they do provide free laundry.
|Recommended: NoPoor quality — My experience with the Highlander began with an infestation of cockroaches, which persisted well into the first half of my stay. The maintenance work was not very effective when things were broken. I was instructed to send packages to the main office only after I had a package stolen from the front lobby of the Highlander. I would not recommend the Highlander to anyone I know.
|Recommended: YesConvenient living — The location is great, close to the Capitol and State street within 10-15 minutes walk , close to bus stop to campus less than 5 minutes walk , and 2 blocks from Lake Mendota. Furnished room with on-site laundry, fitness, computer room , and all utilities included in one-time monthly payment make my life easier and worry-free. The staff is helpful and friendly, especially, Larissa. She is always friendly and professional.

|Recommended: YesHelpful staffs cheap rent but bad utilities — Rent is cheap and the staffs are friendly. However, the apartment smells quite bad and sometimes the elevator stops working for a while. You can hear what other neighbors are talking about.

|Recommended: YesYou get what you pay for. — Its okay, location is good but the place is small. Also the apartments smell like smoke even if you dont smoke.
